SORRY

SORRY

The only thing I can say here is that I am sorry I have not posted anything since March. I just finished a year of devotions and have been busy compiling what I have already posted into a devotional book. I am very excited about what is happening in my life, now that my book, “You Shall Never Fall”  is out on the market.  I have written a second book which is editing stage, and in the process of compiling the third (the devotional), and studying for the fourth book which is going to be a look into the gifts of the Spirit for the modern day Christian. I really miss doing the devotion so my plans are to be  starting it again in June.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (MSG)
4 Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have. Love doesn’t strut, Doesn’t have a swelled head,
5 Doesn’t force itself on others, Isn’t always “me first,” Doesn’t fly off the handle, Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
6 Doesn’t revel when others grovel, Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
7 Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end.
8 Love never dies. Inspired speech will be over some day; praying in tongues will end; understanding will reach its limit.

Real true love is very powerful. Real true love is unconditional. John wrote, “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” Learning the kind of love that Paul was describing to the Corinthians is the makings of a true disciple. A true disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ is when we love one another without conditions. Jesus taught the disciples, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” Jesus was a true example of that kind of love when He knelt down to wash the feet of Judas, knowing that he was going to be betrayed. For all His love he hung on a cross, accepted the punishment for our sins, and died for us. That is real true love. Paul made a statement about adorning ourselves with love because it is the uniting principle or control of perfectness or completeness. Do not be the kind of person that holds grudges or spends their conscious moments finding ways to plot revenge. It is unhealthy for your spiritual soul and it ultimately affects your physical body. Forgiveness is the most used tool when practicing real true love. In fact, Jesus said it is important for the air to be clear between you and others for your prayers to be answered. Do not let anything or anyone stop the flow of blessings into your life. Practice real true love and the blessings will flow freely. Love one another and receive your blessings today.

Isaiah 64:8 (KJV)
8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Jeremiah 18:2-6 (KJV)
2 Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.
3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

Romans 9:20-21 (KJV)
20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

The Lord being a creative potter is molding and making you into a vessel unto honor. He is preparing you for a purpose to fulfill His perfect will. If you ever have the opportunity to actually observe an experienced potter it is quite fascinating as he takes you through the different processes to create a piece of pottery that is useful. It is even more fascinating when you are able to experience that same creative feeling. Taking the clay into your hands, realizing you must decide what you are going to form to choose the right amount of clay to put upon the wheel. Feeling the clay in your hands as you begin to shape it into the vessel you have chosen it to be. You keep your hands moist so that the clay turns smoothly upon the wheel. Also, it is important to make sure the wheel moves at the right speed or the vessel will not form perfectly. Then you add any design to the vessel before placing it in the fire kiln. This process is not just for hardening but to remove any excess water so that when it is dried it will not crack. Then color and glaze are applied to the vessel before it is placed into the fire again to cure the glazing. All of this is not accomplished in one day but over a period of time. The Lord has many purposes for your life. He is the potter and you are the clay. In your life you go through different stages when you are being prepared for a particular task. You go through the fire process which we call trials and tribulations to remove from your life the things that would cause you to crack. When He knows you are strong; He glazes which would be to show you exactly what you are to be and then puts you through the final fire before sending you out to fulfill the task you are designed to do. In your life you may go through this process several times for every task that the Lord has set for you to accomplish. Is it not wonderful to be a created vessel in the Master’s hand? Every blessing each day is just what we need to become the finished vessel. Receive your blessings.
