Psalm 119:17-20 (KJV)
17 Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
19 I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
20 My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.

The Psalmist loved the commandments of God that he wanted to live a full life, just, so he could keep the law. His request is that the Lord would show him all the wonders of the law. His reference of being a stranger in the earth is symbolism of a pilgrim who needs direction. The commands and precepts of the Lord are his charters and guides to lead him on this earth. There was such a desire to know the commandments of the Lord that he felt his soul breaking. Why would this kind of desire consume a man’s life as if the commandments were the lover of his soul? In knowing the laws of God then you understand more about God. The commandments are like loving God with all your heart, mind, and soul. It is a love affair of communication and emotional stimuli. When you are in harmony with the laws of God then you have success and prosperity in all areas of your life. It is when you want to live your life aside from the law that you walk aimlessly like a wanderer having no direction. It is in the laws of God that you can live a life that is full of joy and peace amid a world that is full of chaos and despair. The Lord shared His written commandments to give direction but there are some unwritten laws of application that can take you on a journey that is amazing. It is a journey of increased faith and believing. It is when you can wake up every morning knowing that something amazing is going to happen today because the blessings are flowing from the lover of your soul. Receive your blessings and live the full life you are meant to live.

Psalm 16:11 (KJV)
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

What does it mean that “at the right hand of the Lord there are pleasures for evermore”? God is a spirit and does not have hands. So, the usage of the words “right hand” must apply to an attribute not a physical trait. In the scriptures the “right hand” is symbolic of the power of the Lord, in position it is a place of honor and dignity.  The path that the Lord has chosen for you is perpetuated by His fullness of joy and pleasures that are continuous. Paul wrote to the Ephesians that we are raised in the newness of life to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. It is when you allow the Lord Jesus Christ to be the center of your life that you truly find complete joy and an abundant life. You can live in perpetual, uninterrupted abundance of love, joy, and peace. When you are positioned at the “right hand” of the Lord you have the power to overcome the challenges that you face from day to day with enthusiasm and favor. The blessings you receive every day are the pleasures that come into your life. Receive your blessings today.

Psalm 34:3 (KJV)
3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

Psalm 69:30 (KJV)
30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

Acts 10:44-46 (KJV)
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

The act of magnifying someone is promoting them, acknowledge them with great importance, or to praise as powerful. The Psalmist is welcoming us to praise the Lord with him by exalting the Lord’s name and by being thankful. To magnify is to give the highest of praise. You can praise the Lord with words of adoration or with a song. In the New Testament when Peter was preaching to the Gentiles the Holy Ghost fell on the crowd in such a miraculous move of God that those who were present received the gift of the Holy Ghost. They began to speak in a language they had not learned and were magnifying God with praises. Allowing the Spirit of the Lord to flow through you in such a magnificent way is a joy that is unspeakable and full of glory. There is no greater experience then to submit yourself to His Wonderful Spirit and feel His overwhelming presence not only moving through you but around you.  There is a peace that settles on your heart and mind that is so awesome. You cannot help but “magnify” the Lord. This is an experience that does not happen just one time but can be an every day blessing. There is nothing like starting the day with the flow of His Spirit in your life. It sure opens the door for the blessings to flow in the right direction. Magnify the Lord with me and receive the blessings that are flowing into your life.
