2 Samuel 22:29-37 (KJV)
29 For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.
30 For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
32 For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?
33 God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.
34 He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet: and setteth me upon my high places.
35 He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
36 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
37 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.

This is a song of David when the Lord delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul. This would make a beautiful affirmation to speak every day for your own life. It is a song that glorifies God and also speaks good things into your life. It is a song full of blessings. The Lord lights your path where ever you go. He fills you with strength that you feel you can destroy the enemy that stands in your way; and overcome any obstacle that would try to stop you from accomplishing what you want to accomplish. He gives you the wisdom and understanding to reach to higher heights. To make your feet like the feet of the deer means the ability to go higher and higher with very little. The trails up the mountains are not readily seen because the path is so narrow, but the deer have learned to scale those mountains on those narrow pathways. In life you also learn to hurdle any roadblocks. The Lord knows just when to enlarge the pathway to help you on your journey so that you will not slip or fall. Fly this song of victory high upon a banner of your soul and be blessed with the effects of the powerfulness of the words. Speak strong and loudly; and receive your blessings today.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (KJV)
3  For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6  And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Paul had already written a bold letter to the church at Corinth revealing their sinful and carnal ways. He is writing to them again but in this passage of his letter he is trying to vindicate his position and authority to those who are trying to oppose him. He is explaining that he is not bold because he is far away but if he were there with them he would be the same. He was identifying that he was just an ordinary man with all his temporal wants and necessities, but he does not use human plans or methods to win the battles of the flesh. The struggle over carnality and sin is fought using God’s mighty weapons to pull down the stronghold of the devil. The battle is a spiritual battle and the first line of defense is in the mind. Before there can be any overcoming of the desires of the fleshly lust, individuals must first control their thoughts. Learn to cast down or replace the thought patterns. When a thought comes into the mind that exalts itself against the knowledge of God then replace it with the truth. For example, when you have a slight pain do not let your imagination think it is cancer but replace the thought with truth, “By his stripes I am healed.” If the evil imaginations go unchecked, then it is not long before they become words; if the words spoken go unchecked, then it is not long until you speak into existence a life that is walking in disobedience against the Lord Jesus Christ. Replace any evil imaginations with good ones that will exalt the Lord, then you will speak good and truthful things which will ultimately speak a life of blessings and obedience to Christ. Receive your blessings today.

Mark 4:37-41 (KJV)
37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

There are many today who are experiencing frightful moments because of the storms. These storms will pass and in time will be forgotten, but the devastation will leave a mark. The worse storms are those created by an individual towards others. Sometimes there is physical scarring, but it is the marks on the heart and soul that is not readily seen that last a lifetime. An individual usually tries to hide these emotional traumas. When you are on the sea of life and the storms are raging just call for the Master. He can and will rebuke the wind and bring the calm into your life. Holding on to faith is sometimes difficult especially when it seems your body and soul are being beaten by the winds and waves of life. The Lord Jesus Christ is there, he will never leave nor forsake you. Just believe and experience the flowing of his blessings that speak to the winds and brings peace to your troubled soul.
