John 1:1-14 (KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Jesus is the light of the world. A world that is filled with wickedness and evil. When you walk into a darken room and flip the switch then it seems the darkness is gone. But flip the switch again and darkness will return. Without Jesus Christ in our lives our soul is a room filled with darkness. Once we are filled with Jesus Christ through the power of his Spirit then our lives become a reflection of his light. The light will shine wherever we go and through the name of Jesus the darkness will flee. This light in our lives shines on our path of life to show us the way. It leads us into blessings and not cursings. Receive your blessings today and walk in the light of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalm 85:9-13 (KJV)
9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps
.

This is a poetic love store of an individual who is filled with sin and meets God on his path through life.  As he travels he suddenly stops because the glory of God is shining down upon the land. Fear grips his heart because he is only robed with unrighteousness and he has just encountered God who is a consuming fire. In a moment his life could become only memory of existence whose soul is filled with sin and darkness. Standing there waiting for the judgment to be pronounced but instead this almighty, fierce God swoops in and embraces him with mercy. Why? The individual’s reverential fear and his openness to speak the truth of his sinful life but desiring to be saved stirred the compassion of God. God reaches out and robes the individual with his righteousness and fills his heart with peace. This encounter changes everything. The path is no longer filled with uncertainties because with each step he takes it is filled with the goodness of the Lord. His right standing now orders his steps and the path is no longer filled with darkness but a warm light. He lives a life of abundance because the blessings of love, joy, and peace are always flowing. Be robed with the righteousness of God and receive your blessings today.

Job 32:8 (KJV)
8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (KJV)
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Do you sit sometimes, and your imagination goes wild? It happens to everyone. That is called inspiration. Most of the time it is ignored because you may think the inspirational dream is beyond your reach. Without realizing it the inspiration could be exactly what you need as an answer to your prayer. The beauty of the Word of God is that the writers did not ignore their inspiration from the Lord to write. The Scriptures are a holy writ, not just another book. Paul is writing to Timothy to instruct him in the ministry. At that time, the scriptures they had was sacred writings of the authors of the Old Testament and the commandments of God because the New Testament was history in the making. The Old Testament should not be ignored because it is full of wisdom and understanding that will bring great gain to your life. The doctrinal benefit is to teach the will of God and prophetically point to the coming of Jesus Christ. The reproof is to convince men of the truth that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. The correction is to reconcile man back to God by restoring things the order of things according to his will. The instruction in righteousness is to communicate to people the true meaning of living in right standing with God. Paul was letting Timothy know that the study of the scriptures would make him “complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.” That is why Paul and the other Apostles wrote letters to the church because they were inspired by the Holy Spirit to relate the history and teachings of Jesus Christ. It was so that the followers of Christ, the Anointed one, would have continuous instruction in the will and ways of God through the Lord Jesus Christ. You never know if the things you write today under the unction of the Holy Spirit will make it to a heart that will be reconciled to God. As the blessings of inspiration flow into your life, take note. Do not ignore because nothing is insignificant when you are meditating on the Word of God and inspiration hits your mind and heart. Receive your blessings today, who knows? you could be the inspiration that will change the mind of those who are going the wrong direction and set them on the right path.
