Psalm 112:1-3 (KJV)
1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

The Psalmist encourages the practice of praising the Lord. He reveals what becomes of an individual who fears the Lord and delights or enjoys in the commandments. Not only is that individual blessed but his children will be powerful or successful upon the earth for a generation or period of time. The house will be filled with wealth and riches (more than enough for sustaining) and the good deeds will never be forgotten. The commandments can be summed up into two. Jesus said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” When you love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind you put your total trust in Him which is a walk of faith. When you walk by faith you have more than enough to get you through. You will have more than enough to give which fulfills the second commandment. Jesus spoke a great principle about giving, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” You can never out give the Lord. The blessings of the Lord are not for hoarding but for sharing. Receive your blessings today and share with those who are around you.
