Corinthians 13:4-8 (NKJV)
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.

Yesterday was the day that most people every year declare their love to the person that means the most to them, Valentine’s day. Some of you received chocolates, flowers, a special dinner out, or some special gift that declared their undying love again. Reality check! Why is this day any more special than any other day? Merchants advertised things suggesting what they had would be the perfect gift for the one you love. They made lots of money from the things that were sold because they made you believe. Now let’s look at today, it is just an ordinary day but none the less special because the one you love is still there. When you truly love it never fails. When you truly love you do not have to flaunt some special gift on a special day. True love is every day. There are those who love with such passion that Valentine’s day is just another day filled with their expression of love. There is one that expresses his love to us every day. He does not wait for a special day to bless us with gifts but loads us daily with benefits. The Lord Jesus Christ loves us unconditionally every day. Receive your blessings today because the Lord gives them freely, doused in his love for you.
