Acts 27:10-11 (KJV)
10 And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.
11 Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.

Acts 27:20-26 (KJV)
20 And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.
21 But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship.
23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,
24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
26 Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.

Paul warned those on the ship not to set sail because much harm would come to them, but they did not listen. They ran into a severe tempestuous wind which tossed them. For many days they struggled with the tempest until they lost all hope of being saved. Finally, Paul stood in their midst reminding them that this would happen, but they would not listen. He told them not to fear but be of good cheer because there would be no loss of any man’s life but there would be a total loss of the ship. This story reminds me of so much of life. There are times that someone warns you about something you are attempting to do but you did not listen. Then it seems like the bottom drops out of everything and the struggle begins. You wonder whether you will ever see the light of day in your situation. Be of good cheer, have faith in God. Trust that he sees your situation and hears your cry; help is on the way. There may be some losses but not all. Whatsoever you ask in his name believing; you shall receive. Who knows, it could be today that the blessing that is coming your way is the answer to your problem. Receive your blessing today it could be the miracle you have been waiting for.
