Morning Devotion 03/11/2018

Yesterday was a milestone. I started doing daily devotions on Facebook on 3/10/2017. I never missed a day to share scriptures to express something I had felt the Lord had laid on my heart. I have enjoyed this past year trying to share something from the Word of God that would provoke and inspire others to have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. To expect blessings from the Lord every day. When I looked back on the first few devotions; I was amazed how much the devotionals have grown both in inspiration and in length. The first one was only 92 words, now I am up to 300+ on an average (sometimes 500+ on my long- winded days). Today I am going to share the first devotional that I submitted. The message has not changed. There will always be challenges but when you are empowered with the Holy Spirit you are an overcomer.

2 Corinthians 5:7 “For we walk by faith [we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance.” {“Scripture quotations taken from the Amplified Bible.” www.Lockman.org}. Whatever challenges you are facing today remember that you are empowered by His Spirit to face them. Look at every road block as spiritual hurdles to strengthen your trust in Him. May everyone realize that today is full of blessings for the grabbing.

I am working on turning the past year into a yearly devotional book. I will be working on it for the next few months. Compiling the data and revising the devotions to fit into a book. Once completed, I will be posting where you can pick up a copy for yourself. For right now this will be my last devotional post for a while. This past year I focused on everything being a blessing and that you are blessed beyond measure. As always, receive your blessings today.
